Daily Journey – November 26th: The Altar of No Difference

Does it really matter who has the most money, the most experience, the “best” car, the nicest things… I don’t care, and neither should you. There will always be someone doing better than you, and frankly who cares.

I only care if I am doing the best I can with what I have, and I have the same expectation for you and everyone else. Having this attitude can help us get over and accept the differences we face that would otherwise lead us to whine and complain about how “it’s not fair,” and how “if only I had X, then I would be successful for sure.”

When it comes down to it, the small differences between us really don’t matter that much. What matters is our willingness to work hard for… what we want to achieve… with what we have.
